Parviz Ghelichkhani (Persian: پرویز قلیچ‌خانی, born 4 December 1945) is an Iranian-French retired football player and former captain of Iran national football team. He is now based in France, where he is the editor and publisher of a political magazine. He is one of the Best Players of All Time in Iran and Asia.[citation needed] One of the Most Important members of the Iranian national team in the championship of the Asian Nations Cup in 1968 and 1972 and 1976 and Asian Games 1974 and member of Taj (Esteghlal Tehran) club in the championship of the AFC Champions League in 1970. He is generally considered the best player in Asia in the 1970s.[citation needed]

Along with Ali Jabbari, he was the leader and star of Iran's Golden Generation in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

He is generally considered the most complete and best defensive midfielder in Asian history, with excellent playmaking, shooting, tackling, stamina and leadership.[citation needed]
